Return & Exchange Period
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you wish to return or exchange your purchase, the return period begins the day you receive your items. Unless otherwise specified, items can only be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receiving your order.
Return & Refund Handling Fees
All returned items that are eligible for a refund will incur a handling fee, which will be the greater of:
30% of the item sale price + shipping fees.
Non-returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned or refunded and are considered final sale. These items include:
Items need to be returned in the same condition as they were received. Products that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, heavily scratched, or missing parts may be denied a return.
Tampering
Items that have been tampered with, such as:
Physically opened, cables removed, side panels & backplates removed, or altered in any way by the user, may either be denied a return or subject to a handling fee of 30% of the item sale price and shipping fees.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please:
Gather the item(s) you wish to return along with its original contents and packaging.

Refund Method and Timeframe
We will first attempt to resolve any issues by exchanging defective or faulty products with the same item or a similar one. If you prefer, or if an exchange is not possible, we will issue a refund for the returned item(s) in the same manner as the original payment method.
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected for condition, which typically takes 1 business day. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. Depending on your payment method and your bank’s processing time, it may take up to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Special Considerations
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged in shipping, defective, or not the item you ordered, please contact us immediately to arrange for a return. We will send you a replacement.
Returns Without Proof of Purchase
If you do not have a proof of purchase, we will require:
The name under which the order was placed,
The shipping address,
The email address used during purchase, or any other reasonable information to help us trace your order.
Without this information, we may limit or deny the refund.
Product Accessories and Packaging
Please return all purchased items with all applicable accessories and packaging. If anything is missing, we may deny the return or apply a non-refundable deduction on your refund.
Warranty
All items purchased from TechStop.co.za come with a 12-Month Carry-in Warranty, unless stated otherwise. The Carry-in Warranty means:
If a fault is found within 14 days of receiving your purchase, we will cover the cost of returning the item and shipping it back to you after the issue is resolved.
If the fault occurs after 14 days but within the 12-month warranty period, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item to us, as well as the cost to ship it back to you after the issue is resolved.
The Carry-in Warranty does not cover faults caused by:
Power surges from load shedding, electrical overloads, faulty wiring, or lightning strikes.
User errors.
Battery, Charger, and Power Supply Warranty
Batteries, chargers, and power supplies are covered by a 3-month warranty. However, they are not covered if the fault is due to power surges caused by load shedding, electrical overloads, faulty wiring, or lightning strikes.
Free Accessories
Please note that any free accessories included with your purchase (e.g., keyboard, mouse, flash drives) are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and not eligible for replacement.
Responsibility for Verification
It is your responsibility to verify the contents of your order upon receipt. Complaints regarding missing items or other discrepancies will not be addressed after 7 days, except in cases of warranty claims.
